Sandcreek Middle School is a middle school located in Ammon, Idaho.[1]

Information

Sandcreek adjoins Hillcrest High School on the southern end of the city creating a middle school/high school campus. It is part of the Bonneville Joint School District #93.[1] The school serves approximately 650 7th and 8th grade students from Ammon, Falls Valley, Hillview, TieBreaker, Centennial Ranch and McDonald's Farm subdivisions.[1] Lyndon Oswald currently serves as principal, with Kent Sawyer as assistant principal.[2] The school mascot is the dragon.[1] The school colors are black and gold.

Athletics

The school has boys' and girls' basketball, volleyball, track, and wrestling programs. All sports participate in the Upper Snake River Valley Conference. Sandcreek competes against seven other schools in the conference: Gale, Eagle Rock, Taylorview, Rocky Mountain, Mountainview (Blackfoot), Rigby, and Madison.[3] In 2008, the boy's basketball team won 13 games, lost 1, and claimed the title of Conference Champions.[4]
